“ A Brunch Worth Waking Up For! If you're looking for a brunch spot that combines bold flavors, bottomless drinks, and a lively atmosphere, Bulla Gastrobar is the place to be! My friends and I stopped by for their Brunch Prix Fixe menu, and it was an absolute feast for the senses! We couldn't resist the Bottomless Sangrias and Mimosas ($22 per person), and it was the best decision we made. The options were fantastic--Sangría Roja, Sangría Blanca, Sangría de Cerveza, and both Traditional and Passion Fruit Mimosas. The Passion Fruit Mimosa was my personal favorite--it was refreshing, fruity, and perfectly balanced. The bottomless option is limited to 2 hours, but that was more than enough time to sip, savor, and enjoy responsibly! The Food: -The Brunch Prix Fixe menu ($31 per person) was a culinary adventure. For the first course, we shared a variety of dishes, and each one was a standout: -Smoked Salmon Montaditos: Cream cheese and truffle honey? Yes, please! The combination of smoky salmon and sweet truffle honey was divine. -Patatas Bravas: Crispy potato cubes topped with spicy brava sauce and aioli--these were the ultimate comfort food with a kick. -Grilled Flatbread: This was a flavor explosion! The mozzarella, poached egg, caramelized onions, oyster mushrooms, and bacon worked together perfectly. -Sautéed Garlic Shrimp: The brandy and pepper flakes added a delicious depth of flavor to these tender, garlicky shrimp. -For the main course, I tried the Bulla Benedict, and it did not disappoint. The poached eggs were perfectly runny, the hollandaise was rich and creamy, and the dish as a whole was hearty and satisfying. The vibe at Bulla Gastrobar is lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a weekend brunch with friends. The restaurant was bustling but not overwhelming, and the service was attentive and friendly. The bar was very aesthetically pleasing with lots of photo op areas! I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu--and maybe another round of those Passion Fruit Mimosas! ”
“ What an amazing experience. Great customer service. A gentleman helped me get seated. Even thanked me for waiting even though it wasnt much of a wait to me considering I was I was a walk in. Tristan was my server. Super sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. Beautiful aesthetics. I had the grilled steak and the chorizo stuffed dates. You can tell that much thought is put into the ingredients of each dish for the flavor pairings are AMAZING. Sangria blanco as my cocktail. I definitely will be back to try more of the tapas style dishes and entrees! ”
“ **Food:** Bulla Gastrobar never lets me down. I'm not sure if there are many food critics out there, but I often hear people comparing different places, claiming one is good, another is great, or that another is better. However, Bulla Gastrobar has consistently satisfied me and the people I cherish. The service is always excellent, and the drinks are consistently amazing. This was my first time having a cocktail (see the picture below), and it was fantastic! I recently learned that they changed the recipe for their Bloody Marys, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Shout out to Taylor--ask for her! She's a cute redhead with braces and a beautiful smile. She will make your cocktail to perfection. **Service:** I've mentioned it before, and I'll say it again: I always sit in the same spot, and I absolutely love the service. You won't encounter the typical attitude or negative vibes that you find in many places. In fact, that's why I come here--because no matter what mood I'm in, this place makes me happy. Whether it's from the cocktails, the ambiance, or the people, I always have a great experience. And again, ask for Taylor, the cute redhead with braces and a lovely smile. **Ambiance:** The atmosphere is perfect for any time--whether it's morning, brunch, lunch, or dinner. There's always nice music playing, beautiful faces around, and delicious food. I could go on and on, but just look at the items I ordered and dig in. You are my favorite restaurant! I must admit, when my spirits are heavy, I come to this place to temporarily escape the outside world. Thank you! * Side note. Mire of a personal preference. Im not particularly happy with the sweet sauce on the burger. I felt the French fries. Needed a crisp factor to further satisfy the crunchy exterior and soft silky French fry interior that makes a truly cravable item and I prefer a burgerthat tastes this good Is better melded with a traditional "fixins" bacon, lettuce, tomato onion, ketchup and mustard option. Maybe a future option for this country Veteran who absolutely loves you!?!? ”
“ HH till 6:30 Food options and yummy cocktails special for HH. We loved the steak on toasted bread with shishito peppers. The chicken skewer was juicy and tender, but was lowkey salty. The garlic shrimp was unbearably salty, we had to send it back. ”
“ Super cute little tapas place! This was such a vibe for happy hour, they had several affordable food and drink specials. Their steak montaditos were probably my fave, along with their pintxo de pollo. You also can't go wrong with their patatas bravas. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some cosmos and our server was very attentive, food kept coming out fresh and perfectly portioned. Definitely come for happy hour! We probably had about 3-4 cocktails each and like 7 apps all for a bill. ”
“ Recently went to the happy hour with some friends. There's a food and drink menu specifically for bar area. We tried the grilled chicken skewer, smoked salmon montaditos, steak montaditos, tuna tartare wonton crisps, truffle fries and ham croquettes (not pictured). Overall food was good, portions are small bites for happy hour. The bartender was helpful with the Hh menu. We tried the French 75 and lady killer cosmo. He was willing to help me make drinks skinny. We were there 3-4:45 on a Friday. It wasn't busy during that time. We found metered parking on the street but they will validate parking for you in the garage if there's parking available. Overall would return for a meetup with a friend for happy hour. ”
“ The Spanish restaurant that I go to most frequently in Atlanta. The restaurant offers lunch and dinners, with different menus. Have been there for quite a few times. The lunch was good and really worth the price. At $17 I get a big bowl of delicious butternut soup (seasonal dish) and a personal size paella. For dinner, I have tried quite a few dishes like the chicken paella, grilled shishito peppers, Pollo Al Chillindron (chicken stewed in red pepper sauce), Mallorcan style lamb, chicken fideua, etc. The shishito peppers dish is a must-order. The seasonal dish Mallorcan style lamb is also very creative and tasty. However, their paella could be less salty. Besides, service is just Okay. Sometimes it is too slow. The good thing is that you can scan a QR code to make the payment. ”
“ Not only was this one of the best tapas restaurants I've ever experienced, but our dinner at Bulla was one of the best meals I've ever had. Before I get to the food, MAJOR props to our wonderful server, Ilyeana, who had awesome recommendations and helped us make great choices -- and the perfect number so we still had room to share dessert. Thank you! Here are the dishes we had: 1. A lovely manchego, which came with small toasts, nuts and what I think was guava or fig paste. Whatever it was, it complimented the manchego perfectly! 2. Albondingas. Light, airy, but super flavorful meatballs in sauce. 3. Patatas bravas. You may be thinking, "I've had these before at other places." Well, you haven't had them HERE. Highly, highly recommend -- and the sauce has a nice kick to it. 4. Ham croquettes -- Again, LIGHT. I usually steer away from croquettes when I get tapas because they feel so heavy; these were delicious and again, light. 5. Chicken Fideua -- Oh my goodness, YUM. It's like Spanish pad thai, but totally different taste. Rice noodles with tender chicken, spices (flavorful, not hot), chickpeas and, well, unicorn dust, I think. SO GOOD. 6. SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST: Chorizo Stuffed Dates -- EHRMAGERD. They were roasted or seared or something magical -- one of the most delicious appetizers/small plates I've ever experienced! (By the way, we were three people in total, and this was perfect for us). As I mentioned, we had room for dessert -- so we shared a coconut flan and an oreo cheesecake. They were both good, but I LOVED the cheesecake. You know how cheesecake can be dense and heavy? Again -- the theme of this restaurant is LIGHT and FLAVORFUL. Once again -- the best Oreo cheesecake I've ever had. We were only in town for a few days and had hoped to return -- but we didn't get back this trip. But when I'm in Atlanta again, I definitely will make it back to Bulla -- and in the meantime, plan to review where the other locations are to see if I can make it to another location in the meantime! ”
“ Bulla, you owe me nothing. Take it from someone who tries food all around Georgia to say that I appreciate a tapas/small plate situation and a good happy hour, and that's what I found. First, let's get the main question answered...parking? There is a deck right across the street with paid parking and then street parking right in front of alongside the block. Now, we didn't have a reservation on a Saturday and wanted to sit at the bar as they have a weekend happy hour...AMAZING. We walked in and easily found two spots while the standard seating was pretty open. I want to shoutout Anthony first and foremost as he ensured my best friend experienced a fun and memorable meal to celebrate her birthday. We tried almost everything off the happy hour menu food wise, and definitely had a healthy round of drinks/shots so see ratings below: Drinks: Mojito: 9/10 (super refreshing, healthy amount of mint) Reposado Tequila Shots: 100/10 (NEED I SAY MORE LOL) Now on to the food: 1. Garlic Shrimp: 8/10 (loved that natural garlic flavor and the large pieces of garlic in the butter sauce, shrimp were cooked perfectly, could use a little more seasoning) 2. Ham Croquettes: 9/10 (super crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside) 3. Patatas Bravas: 8/10 (crispy and loved the sauces on top, nice contrast of spice) 4. Pintxo Moruno: 5/10 (loved the spices used but the pork could have been juicier/more tender) 5. Truffle Fries: 9/10 (nice, thin and crispy. Loved the truffle oil, portions were a bit small) 6. Crispy Calamari: 7/10 (batter was super thin and flaky, just was missing seasoning for me) 7. Tuna Tartare Wonton Crisps: 2/10 (the portion of tuna tartare to chip was laughable and made it so it really didn't have a taste at all) 8. Steak Montaditos: 10/10 (my absolute favorite bite of the afternoon. Seasoned so well and loved the whole blistered shishito on top for that herbaceous freshness) Let's just say, I will be back to try more of their main menu but that happy hour has my heart. ”
